Translating literally from Arabic as “Gold”, Dahab is a coastal gem that has undergone a fascinating transformation over the years. Originally a sleepy bedouin fishing village Dahab gained notoriety as a backpacker’s paradise in the 70s and 80s.

The growth of the Dahab scuba diving scene in the eighties meant many scuba diving schools in Dahab opened along with a wide choice of small restaurants and guest houses. The Circle Divers Tec and CCR technical diving team - is a friendly group of highly experienced tec instructors from around the World who share a passion for CCR diving and the endless opportunities made available by using Closed Circuit Rebreathers. The Team consists of Advanced Trimix CCR Instructors utilising some of the best rebreathers on the market today. Unlike many facilities, whose instructors only sometimes teach technical, we live, eat and breathe tec and CCR diving - this is our day job!
