Daily Boat Diving in Sharm El Sheikh

Already a Certified Diver?

If you're a certified diver, you're welcome to join one of our daily boat diving trips and explore the spectacular reefs of Sharm El Sheikh. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, some of our more advanced dive sites—including Ras Mohamed National Park and the Straits of Tiran—have minimum experience requirements.

To dive these sites, divers should:

  • Hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent).
  • Have a minimum of 40 logged dives.
  • Have dived within the previous 12 months.

If you don't yet meet these requirements, don't worry. We can arrange a check dive or PADI Scuba Refresher programme before you join a trip to Ras Mohammed or Tiran. This allows our instructors to assess your skills, rebuild your confidence if needed, and ensure you're ready to enjoy some of the Red Sea's most spectacular dive sites safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know how to swim?

Basic swimming ability and confidence in the water are recommended for Discover Scuba Diving.

Is Discover Scuba Diving safe?

Yes. The experience is conducted under the direct supervision of a certified PADI Instructor following internationally recognised safety standards.

How Many Dives in a DSD activity?

You can choose between a half day package with just one dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres or extend to a full day with 2 dives to a maiximum depth of 12 metres on the second dive.

Can children take part?

Children aged 10 years and older can usually participate, subject to PADI requirements and medical suitability. For children over the age of 8 years old but under 10 years, the PADI Bubblemaker activity can be a fun thing to do in Sharm.

Do I need my own equipment?

No. All scuba equipment can be provided by Circle Divers.

How many dives are included on daily boat trips?

Our daily Sharm boat diving excursions typically include two guided dives with lunch and refreshments onboard.
