SS Thistlegorm Wreck

SS Thistlegorm Wreck

Sharm El Sheikh

The famous SS Thistlegorm wreck.

SS Thistlegorm sank in the WW II and she is surely one of the best wreck dives in the Red Sea, an underwater museum at its finest.
First is an exploration dive where you explore the outside of the wreck and see locomotive trains underwater and an anti-aircraft gun on the stern of the ship. The second dive leads you inside to see the remaining cargo such as jeeps, motorbikes, and airplane wings.
It is unforgettable!

Please note that the free Sinai stamp which you get upon arrival at the airport is not enough for this trip. If this is on your bucket list, please purchase the visa upon arrival at the airport. The cost of the visa will be $25.

The SS Thistlegorm is an early bird dive as the trip takes 3-4 hours.
