Description :

The TDI Sidemount Diver course teaches divers how to use a sidemount equipment configuration for technical diving, offering increased flexibility, redundancy, and streamlining compared to traditional backmount systems. This course is ideal for divers who want improved gas management, better trim and balance, and easier equipment handling—especially in technical and overhead-style environments.

Divers learn proper sidemount equipment setup, cylinder rigging, weighting, and hose routing, as well as advanced buoyancy, trim, and propulsion techniques. The course emphasizes efficient gas switching, valve management, and problem-solving while maintaining precise control and awareness.

TDI Sidemount can be combined with Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, or Trimix training, or taken as a standalone configuration course to prepare divers for more advanced technical and exploration diving.
