Before opening our second dive centre, we asked ourselves a simple question:

If we could choose anywhere in the Red Sea, where would we want to dive every day?

The answer was easy.

Dahab.

From Sharm El Sheikh to Dahab

For many years, Circle Divers built its reputation in Sharm El Sheikh, offering world-class diving in locations such as Ras Mohammed National Park, the Straits of Tiran and the SS Thistlegorm wreck.

As our family of divers continued to grow, we knew we wanted a second location.

The question wasn't whether we would expand—it was where.

Egypt has many fantastic diving destinations including Hurghada, Marsa Alam and El Quseir. Each offers something different, but one place kept drawing us back time and time again.

Dahab.

It wasn't just another destination.

It was somewhere that perfectly reflected the way we believe diving should be experienced.

A Completely Different Diving Experience

One of the biggest reasons we chose Dahab is that it offers something completely different to Sharm El Sheikh.

Sharm is famous for spectacular boat diving, dramatic walls and strong currents that attract pelagic marine life.

Dahab, however, is built around shore diving.

Instead of rushing to a marina early every morning, divers simply load the jeep, drive a few minutes along the coastline and enter directly from the shore. This relaxed style of diving allows more flexibility, longer surface intervals and far less time spent travelling between dive sites.

For many divers, this creates a much more personal experience and a diving holiday you will never forget.

You spend less time on logistics and more time underwater for the best diving.

World-Class Dive Sites in Dahab on Our Doorstep

There are very few places in the world where so many iconic dive sites are located within minutes of each other.

From our Dahab dive centre, guests can easily explore spectacular dive sites such as:

Each offers something unique, from colourful coral reef gardens and dramatic swim-throughs to walls covered in soft corals and incredible macro life

Unlike many destinations where every dive begins to look similar, the underwater world of Dahab offers enormous variety.

The Best Place to Learn to Dive

One of our core values has always been quality diver education.

Dahab is one of the best places in the world to begin your diving journey when you want to learn to dive.

Calm conditions, easy shore entries and clear visibility allow students to focus on learning rather than battling currents or waves.

Whether completing a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, Open Water Diver course or Advanced Open Water course, students often finish feeling more confident because the environment is so forgiving.

That matched perfectly with our philosophy of producing safe, confident divers and dive instructors.

A Paradise for Experienced Divers

While Dahab is fantastic for beginners, it also offers endless opportunities for experienced divers.

Technical divers from around the world visit Dahab because of its quality diving:

  • Deep walls
  • Easy shore access
  • Reliable conditions
  • Year-round diving
  • Exceptional technical training environment

Sites like the Blue Hole and Canyon have become internationally recognised training locations for advanced and technical diving when conducted safely with proper planning and qualifications

As a dive centre offering recreational, technical and professional-level training, Dahab was a natural fit.

The Atmosphere is Unlike Anywhere Else

Perhaps the biggest reason we fell in love with Dahab has nothing to do with diving.

It's the atmosphere.

Dahab has managed to keep its unique personality despite becoming one of the world's best-known dive destinations.

You'll find:

  • Independent cafés
  • Bedouin hospitality and accommodation
  • Beachfront restaurants at the heart of Dahab
  • Mountain scenery around Dahab
  • Relaxed evenings by the sea
  • A welcoming international diving community

Life moves at a slower pace here.

After diving, it's perfectly normal to sit with friends overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba, sharing stories over fresh seafood or coffee while watching the sun disappear behind the Sinai mountains.

Many visitors arrive intending to stay for a week.

Many return year after year.

Some never leave.

Easy to Reach

Although Dahab doesn't have its own airport, reaching us is simple.

Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is approximately one hour away by road, making transfers quick and convenient for international visitors. We can arrange airport transfers directly to our dive centre, making arrival stress free.

Sharing the Magic of Dahab

When we first experienced Dahab ourselves, we realised something important.

This wasn't somewhere we simply wanted to visit occasionally.

It was somewhere we wanted to call home.

Opening our second dive centre wasn't about expanding our business.

It was about giving our guests the opportunity to experience a completely different side of Red Sea diving.

Some visitors love the dramatic boat dives of Sharm El Sheikh.

Others fall in love with Dahab's relaxed shore diving and famous dive sites of Dahab.

Many choose to combine both destinations during the same holiday—and that's exactly what makes Circle Divers unique.

Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater, becoming a Divemaster, exploring technical diving or simply looking for your next underwater adventure, we believe every diver should experience the magic of Dahab at least once.

For us, choosing Dahab wasn't a business decision.

It was a diver's decision.

And we've never looked back.
